All alone

A is in the US - her first time...she rang a while ago....can't believe how big everything is...sounds excited. I am here on the sofa with the laptop and the dog. Damm the f**king closet...i always thought we would go to the states together and see things together and go wow and escape for a while. But she is away on a work type holiday thing for 10 days and I am stuck here....

Amazing to see the power cuts in NY, CT etc...wow...no money and no air conditioning...no water...

A friend is coming over for lunch tomorrow, it will be good to have some intelligent conversation and good to cook....Fuzz I love you dearly but four legs, a wag of the tale and an odd lick on the face is not doing anything for me....
