Those of you who know me in rl might know I watch far too much reality tv than I would care to admit to. However I will admit to watching Fame Academy and series two on BBC looks like having something different of interest to observe. Alex Parkes is 19, with attitude and a great voice and she's come out! For reality TV pop shows this is news....so used to young gay men or young men hiding their sexuality on these shows. So watching might be interesting. Seemingly she is worried about being out and the implications for her family etc. Her fellow competitiors seem supportive...be intersting to see how its covered by the beeb....more anon no doubt.
